Ivim Health Review (2026): Compounded GLP-1 and Sermorelin Pricing, Pros, Cons, Alternatives
Ivim Health review from its own pages, read October 10, 2026: compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide prices, the $74.99 membership, sublingual sermorelin, the pharmacies it names, cancellation terms, its February 2026 FDA warning letter, ratings and alternatives.

Key takeaways
- Ivim Health (Ivim Services LLC, Columbus, Ohio) is a membership telehealth service built around GLP-1 weight-loss care. On October 10, 2026 it sold compounded semaglutide, tirzepatide and liraglutide, brand GLP-1s through insurance or manufacturer cash prices, a sublingual sermorelin tablet, NAD+ and other add-ons. Other peptides are on a waitlist.
- Every program requires a $74.99 monthly membership on top of the medication. Compounded semaglutide was advertised from $75 a month and compounded tirzepatide from $133 a month on a six-month plan paid up front; the help center, updated October 6, 2026, says 'starting at' $65 and $117. Sermorelin is $129 for one month.
- Ivim names the six compounding and two brand pharmacies that may fill its prescriptions, uses both 503A and 503B facilities, and says the pharmacy can change between orders. Visits are by video or chat; labs are required only in its men's hormone program.
- FDA sent Ivim a warning letter dated February 20, 2026 (posted March 3 with FDA's batch of 30 telehealth letters), saying product images on its website labeled compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide with the Ivim name, implying Ivim was the compounder. Ivim was not in the June 2026 batch; the product images we viewed on October 10 showed no Ivim name on the vial.
- Multi-month plans cannot be cancelled mid-term, and no refund is owed if regulators make compounded GLP-1s unavailable. Trustpilot showed 4.9 of 5 from 39,750 reviews and the BBB an A+ rating with 101 complaints in three years.

How we reviewed Ivim Health
On October 10, 2026 we read Ivim's program, product, provider, safety, terms, membership-agreement and refund pages, and its help-center articles (through the help center's public data feed, which shows each article's last update, because the pages refused automated requests). We searched FDA's warning-letter database and the published lists for the March and June 2026 telehealth batches, read Trustpilot and the BBB through a text-only reader, searched federal dockets on CourtListener and read the two studies Ivim cites.
We did not sign up, pay or take a consultation, so nothing here describes a customer experience, and we quote no individual reviews. We did not contact Ivim before publication. No company paid for this page or saw it before publication. Every figure carries its date; corrections go to editors@peptidedoctrine.com.
What Ivim Health offers
Weight loss is the core. The flagship is GLP-1 ID, compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide with what Ivim calls individualized dosing and weekly check-ins (Ivim GLP-1 ID page). A microdosing program sells lower doses of the same compounded drugs, and compounded liraglutide starts at $249 a month. For brand drugs, Ivim's prior-authorization team submits requests for Zepbound, Wegovy, Foundayo, Mounjaro, Ozempic and Saxenda; patients who are not covered can be prescribed brand drugs bought at the manufacturers' cash prices through LillyDirect or NovoCare (Ivim help center). Our microdosing explainer covers what is known about sub-label doses.
Sermorelin is a tablet, not an injection. Ivim's compounded sermorelin is a dissolvable tablet or troche held under the tongue or in the cheek at bedtime, taken nightly Monday to Friday, and its safety sheet excludes pregnancy, breastfeeding and current tumors (Ivim sermorelin safety information). It costs $129 for one month or $199 for two, plus membership (Ivim help center). Every human study in our sermorelin profile gave the drug by injection, and a PubMed search we ran on October 10, 2026 found no published human study of sublingual sermorelin, so how much of a dose absorbed under the tongue reaches the pituitary is unknown. The sermorelin pages we read do not mention measuring IGF-1, the one objective check that sermorelin is doing anything.
Other add-ons and hormone care. NAD+ weekly injections ($129 for a month), lipotropic injections ($99 for a month), B12 injections, a women's hormone program (estradiol, progesterone, DHEA cream and PT-141) and a men's program built on enclomiphene, with tadalafil for some patients and a required at-home lab kit (Ivim help center). NAD+ is not a peptide; our NAD+ profile covers what the injections have and have not been tested for.
Other peptides are not on sale. The home page offers a waitlist for peptide therapies without naming compounds (Ivim home page). In a July 23, 2026 post, Ivim said it stopped prescribing the peptides FDA reclassified in 2023, and that its chief medical officer, Dr. Jessica Duncan, testified that day at FDA's compounding advisory committee for physician-supervised access through 503A pharmacies (Ivim, July 2026). As our legal tracker records, those July votes are not a permit: until FDA finishes rulemaking, no pharmacy may compound BPC-157, TB-500 or the others.
Pricing in brief
Medication is paid up front for the plan length and the $74.99 membership is billed for the whole plan, so at the advertised starting price a six-month compounded tirzepatide plan commits you to $1,247.94 ($798 medication, $449.94 membership). Ivim does not publish per-dose prices, the one-month GLP-1 ID price or shipping costs.
Clinicians, visits and labs
Ivim lists about 100 board-certified providers (Ivim home page), and the model mixes live and asynchronous contact. New patients can book a video visit, choose a faster 'rapid visit' or join a live waiting room that is not available in every state; existing patients can request an 'expedited refill' with no visit, with any questions handled by text or phone (Ivim help center). GLP-1 ID patients can submit a weekly questionnaire that a provider reviews, typically within two business hours by Ivim's account, and compounded GLP-1s ship no more than 56 days at a time, each shipment after a check-in and provider approval (Ivim terms).
Labs are required for the men's hormone program and recommended for the women's. We found no lab requirement on the GLP-1 or sermorelin pages, which is common for weight-loss telehealth and a gap for sermorelin.
Where the medication comes from
Ivim's medication safety page lists six compounding pharmacies: Empower Pharmacy (Houston), Hallandale Pharmacy (Fort Lauderdale), SBH Medical (Columbus, Ohio), Enovex Compounding Pharmacy (Los Angeles), The Pharmacy Hub (Miami) and Olympia Pharmacy (Orlando), plus AssistRx (Overland Park, Kansas) and Gifthealth (Columbus) for brand drugs (Ivim medication safety information). Its help center adds that the pharmacy depends on your location and availability, that Ivim uses both 503A pharmacies and 503B outsourcing facilities, that a certificate of analysis is available on request, and that 'your pharmacy may change with each order.' That is more disclosure than most providers in our directory, where two of twelve name a pharmacy, though a list of six does not tell you which one will fill your order.
A new pharmacy can mean a new vial concentration, so check the units on every label with our units converter. Ivim does not say which products come from 503B facilities; our legal explainer explains why a 503B source of tirzepatide is a question to ask in 2026.
Cancellation, refunds and the fine print
- No mid-term cancellation. Fees are non-refundable once payment terms are accepted, you owe the full plan length, and cancellation requests must arrive 48 hours before renewal (Ivim membership agreement); the GLP-1 ID page says cancellation is not available once a program starts.
- A partial exception. Section 16 of the terms refunds unshipped medication on cancellation, less $100 per undelivered three-month portion or $50 per two-month portion of four- and six-month plans, waived if a provider finds you medically ineligible. The refund policy calls prescribed medication non-refundable and points to that section. Get your plan's answer in writing.
- Time runs regardless. Missed check-ins or failed payments do not pause a plan; unrequested medication lapses.
- Regulatory risk is yours. If compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide become unavailable through FDA policy or pharmacy availability, section 29(A) says no refund is owed for that alone (Ivim terms).
- Disputes go to individual arbitration with a class-action waiver (section 19).
The FDA warning letter and the 2026 legal picture
The letter. FDA's Office of Compounding Quality and Compliance sent a warning letter to Ivim Services LLC dba Ivim dated February 20, 2026 and posted on March 3, the day FDA announced 30 such letters to telehealth companies. FDA said it reviewed ivimhealth.com in December 2025 and that the compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide products pictured there identified 'Ivim' on the label, suggesting Ivim was the compounder when it was not, which made the products misbranded under the FD&C Act. It asked for a written response within 15 working days, suggesting steps such as identifying the entities that produce the compounded products (FDA, February 2026). The letter concerned labeling and marketing; it made no finding about the quality of the medication, and FDA noted its list of violations was not exhaustive.
Since then. On October 10, 2026 FDA's database showed no posted response or close-out letter, and a search for 'Ivim' returned only this letter. Ivim was not among the 25 companies sent letters on June 8, 2026 (Telehealth.org, July 2026). The two compounded GLP-1 product tiles on Ivim's home page that we viewed that day showed a vial labeled 'Compounded GLP-1' with no Ivim name, and the program page states that the medication is compounded and not FDA-approved. We did not review every image or any shipped label.
How the compounded program fits the rules. Since the shortages ended, compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are lawful only when a licensed 503A pharmacy prepares them for a named patient whose prescriber documents a clinically significant difference from the approved drug; routine copies are not, as our tracker and legal explainer set out. Ivim frames its program in those terms: its terms say the compounded drugs are prepared for each patient based on clinical status, weight and response to treatment (Ivim terms). Whether a prescription meets the test depends on the reason written on it, which no website can show; FDA's September 2026 letter to a pharmacy said reasons picked from a telehealth platform's menu undermine the individual judgment the law requires. We found no FDA or court finding about Ivim's prescriptions. Ask your prescriber what reason is on yours.
Where Ivim stands. In February 2025 Ivim filed a friend-of-the-court brief supporting the compounders who asked a federal court to block FDA's tirzepatide shortage decision (court docket); the court refused, FDA won, and the Fifth Circuit affirmed on August 27, 2026.
Ratings and complaints
On October 10, 2026 Trustpilot showed 4.9 out of 5 from 39,750 reviews (Trustpilot). The BBB showed an A+ rating, accreditation since February 28, 2023, an average of 4.67 out of 5 from 375 customer reviews, and 101 complaints in the last three years, 16 of them in the last 12 months (BBB). Ivim says it has served more than 470,000 patients (Ivim home page), which is context for the complaint count. Star averages measure satisfaction with service, not the quality or legality of a medication.
What Ivim's outcome claims rest on
Ivim advertises average weight loss of 22 percent with semaglutide and 27 percent with tirzepatide. The figures come from two retrospective analyses by its own clinicians in Obesity Pillars: 1,131 semaglutide patients who completed at least a year lost 19.5 percent at 52 weeks and 21.8 percent among those who reached 68 weeks (Duncan 2025), and 1,166 tirzepatide patients, on brand or compounded drug, lost 22.7 percent at 52 weeks and 26.5 percent at 72 weeks (Duncan 2026). Both counted only patients who stayed at least a year and had no comparison group, whereas randomized trials analyze everyone randomized; Ivim's footnotes say the studies are not randomized and not head-to-head. The numbers describe people who stayed, not what a new patient should expect.
Pros
- Names its pharmacies and offers a certificate of analysis on request.
- Publishes starting prices for compounded GLP-1s and add-ons.
- Brand GLP-1s and insurance prior authorization under the same membership.
- Several ways to reach a clinician, including weekly questionnaire review.
- Serves 49 states and DC.
- Has published outcome data in a peer-reviewed journal, limitations and all.
Cons
- An FDA warning letter in February 2026 over how compounded GLP-1 products were labeled on its website.
- The $74.99 membership roughly doubles the cost of the cheapest compounded semaglutide.
- Up-front, non-cancellable multi-month plans, inconsistent cancellation language, and no refund if regulation removes the compounded drug.
- The pharmacy can change between orders, and 503A or 503B status per product is not stated.
- Sermorelin is sold in a form no published human study has tested, with no IGF-1 testing stated.
- Starting prices differ across Ivim's own pages.
Who it may suit
Ivim fits an adult who wants frequently adjusted GLP-1 care, can commit four to six months, and has discussed with the prescriber why a compounded drug rather than the brand is right for them; or a commercially insured patient who wants help with a brand GLP-1 prior authorization and accepts the membership fee. It fits less well if you want month-to-month flexibility, injectable sermorelin with IGF-1 monitoring, Medicare or Medicaid coverage, or care in Mississippi.
Alternatives
Our Ivim Health alternatives guide compares six telehealth services from our directory of online peptide clinics on the same criteria, plus the manufacturer cash programs for brand GLP-1s (LillyDirect, NovoCare and the federal TrumpRx site), which need a prescription but no membership. Brand prices are in our tirzepatide cost guide.
Bottom line
Ivim Health is a large GLP-1 telehealth service, more open than most about its pharmacies and prices and less flexible than most about cancellation. Its compounded starting prices are low, but the mandatory membership, up-front multi-month payment, the February 2026 FDA letter and the narrow legal lane for compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide belong in the same calculation. Before paying, get four things in writing: the total for the whole plan, the pharmacy and its 503A or 503B status, the clinical reason for a compounded drug, and the cancellation terms that apply to you.
Frequently asked questions
+Is Ivim Health legit?
It is a real telehealth company, Ivim Services LLC, with licensed clinicians, a published list of the pharmacies that fill its prescriptions, an A+ BBB rating and peer-reviewed (if limited) outcome data. It also received an FDA warning letter dated February 20, 2026 saying product images on its website showed compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide labeled with the Ivim name, implying Ivim was the compounder. Whether a compounded GLP-1 prescription is lawful depends on a documented, patient-specific reason, which you should ask your Ivim prescriber to put in writing.
+What is Ivim Health?
A membership-based telehealth service founded in 2021 and based in Columbus, Ohio, focused on GLP-1 weight-loss care. On October 10, 2026 it offered compounded semaglutide, tirzepatide and liraglutide, brand GLP-1 drugs through insurance or manufacturer cash prices, sublingual sermorelin, NAD+, B12 and lipotropic injections, and women's and men's hormone programs, all for a $74.99 monthly membership plus the medication.
+Does Ivim take insurance?
Partly. Its prior-authorization team submits requests for brand GLP-1 drugs such as Zepbound, Wegovy and Mounjaro to most commercial plans, but not to Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, TRICARE, VA or Kaiser plans. Compounded medications and the membership are cash. Ivim's help center says it accepts HSA and FSA cards; its membership agreement says membership fees cannot be submitted to an HSA without independent verification.
+What pharmacy does Ivim Health use?
Its medication safety page lists six compounding pharmacies (Empower Pharmacy in Houston, Hallandale Pharmacy in Fort Lauderdale, SBH Medical in Columbus, Enovex Compounding Pharmacy in Los Angeles, The Pharmacy Hub in Miami and Olympia Pharmacy in Orlando) and two brand-medication pharmacies (AssistRx in Overland Park, Kansas and Gifthealth in Columbus). Its help center says it uses both 503A and 503B facilities, that the pharmacy depends on your location and can change with each order, and that a certificate of analysis is available on request.
+How much does Ivim Health cost?
A $74.99 monthly membership plus medication. On October 10, 2026 compounded semaglutide was advertised from $75 a month and compounded tirzepatide from $133 a month on a six-month plan paid up front (the help center said from $65 and $117), compounded liraglutide from $249, and sermorelin tablets $129 for one month. Our Ivim cost breakdown works out the first three months.
+Is there an Ivim Health lawsuit?
The litigation we can describe is public policy, not a dispute with patients: in February 2025 Ivim filed a friend-of-the-court brief supporting compounders who sued FDA over the end of the tirzepatide shortage, a case FDA won.
+How do I cancel my Ivim membership?
Through the Subscriptions tab of your account or by email or text to support, at least 48 hours before the renewal date. On a multi-month medication plan you cannot cancel mid-term: the membership agreement obliges you to pay through the plan's full length, and the help center says you can cancel once the final payment has been made. The terms describe a partial refund of unshipped medication, minus fees, on four- and six-month plans.
+Does Ivim prescribe tirzepatide?
Yes, in two forms. Compounded tirzepatide was advertised from $133 a month on a six-month plan plus the $74.99 membership on October 10, 2026, and brand Zepbound and Mounjaro can be prescribed through insurance or the manufacturer's cash program, with the membership on top. Since the tirzepatide shortage ended, a compounded version is lawful only for a documented individual clinical need.
+What are Ivim Health reviews like?
On October 10, 2026 Trustpilot showed an average of 4.9 out of 5 from 39,750 reviews, and the BBB showed an A+ rating, accreditation since February 2023, an average of 4.67 out of 5 from 375 customer reviews and 101 complaints in the last three years, 16 of them in the last 12 months. Star averages measure satisfaction with service, not the quality or legality of the medication.
