Key takeaways
- Henry Meds charges one bundled price that includes provider visits, medication, supplies and shipping, with no separate membership. On October 10, 2026 its GLP-1 pages said treatment starts at $179 a month.
- Its price list, last updated December 3, 2025, puts compounded semaglutide injections at $297 a month, or $1,482 for six months and $2,364 for a year paid in full (about $247 and $197 a month).
- Non-injectable options cost $179 to $249 a month for sublingual or dissolving semaglutide, and $1,047 for a three-month supply of dissolving tirzepatide tablets ($891 paid in full), about $297 to $349 a month.
- Henry does not publish prices by dose, and the quantities listed for monthly injectable semaglutide average about 1 mg a week, below the 2.4 mg label maintenance dose.
- Against brand cash prices, Henry is not always cheaper: Wegovy is $349 through NovoCare and Zepbound $299 to $449 through Lilly, plus a prescriber's fee. Henry's prepaid long plans are where its monthly price drops.

Three rules shape every bill. The plan price includes the provider visits, so there is no membership line (Henry FAQ). You are charged as soon as a provider writes a prescription after the free evaluation (Henry terms). And leaving a multi-month plan early may mean paying the balance unless a provider finds a medical reason you cannot continue (Henry FAQ).
The first three months and the first year
Our arithmetic from the published figures, assuming the price does not change with dose and plans renew at the same price. Henry does not publish dose-based prices, so treat these as floors.
| Plan | First three months | First year | Per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Semaglutide injection, month to month | $891 | $3,564 | $297 |
| Semaglutide injection, 6 months paid in full, renewed once | $1,482 up front | $2,964 | $247 |
| Semaglutide injection, 12 months paid in full | $2,364 up front | $2,364 | $197 |
| Liraglutide, month to month | $537 | $2,148 | $179 |
| Liraglutide, 12 months paid in full | $1,428 up front | $1,428 | $119 |
| Sublingual semaglutide, month to month | $537 | $2,148 | $179 |
| Dissolving tirzepatide, three-month supply, renewed | $1,047 ($891 paid in full) | $4,188 ($3,564) | $349 ($297) |
Two things stand out. Paying up front for a year cuts the injectable semaglutide price by a third, but commits $2,364 before you know how you will tolerate the drug, and the FAQ says an early exit may mean paying the balance. And the listed quantities matter: the monthly semaglutide plan supplies up to 10 mg every 70 days, about 1 mg a week on average, which is below the 2.4 mg maintenance dose on the Wegovy label. Ask what the price becomes if your prescriber raises your dose, and run any vial through the peptide calculator so you compare the price per milligram.
How Henry compares with brand and typical compounded prices
The comparison figures come from our peptide therapy cost guide and tirzepatide cost guide, collected October 9 to 10, 2026.
| Option | Monthly cost |
|---|---|
| Henry compounded semaglutide injection | $297 month to month; $247 or $197 on prepaid 6- or 12-month plans; visits included |
| Typical compounded semaglutide through telehealth | $150 to $350 month to month; $100 to $200 on 3- to 12-month plans |
| Wegovy injection through NovoCare | $349; $199 for a new patient's first two fills in 2026; plus a prescriber's fee |
| Wegovy pill (FDA-approved oral semaglutide), cash | $149 at the starting dose to $299 at maintenance doses; plus a prescriber's fee |
| Henry sublingual or dissolving semaglutide | $179 to $249 |
| Henry dissolving tirzepatide | $297 to $349 |
| Zepbound through Lilly's self-pay program | $299 (2.5 mg), $399 (5 mg), $449 (7.5 to 15 mg); plus a prescriber's fee |
| Typical compounded tirzepatide through telehealth | $180 to $300; a 27-program tracker found a $249 median |
Sources: Wegovy (Managed Healthcare Executive 2025); Zepbound (LillyDirect terms).
Month to month, Henry's injectable semaglutide sits near the top of the typical compounded range; prepaid for a year it lands in the middle. Its non-injectable semaglutide costs about the same as the Wegovy pill, which is FDA-approved, and its dissolving tirzepatide costs about the same as brand Zepbound at the two lowest doses. For a new patient in 2026, three months of Wegovy through NovoCare ($747) costs less in medication than three months of Henry's month-to-month semaglutide ($891), though you would add a prescriber's fee. The comparison also leaves out the legal difference: since the shortages ended, compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are lawful only for a patient with a documented clinical need the approved drug cannot meet, and price is not such a need, as our legal explainer sets out.
What Henry does not publish
- The price at each dose; the GLP-1 pages say price varies by dosing, but the list shows one price per plan.
- Prices for microdose plans.
- What the higher figure beside each paid-in-full price means, which we read as the price when not paid up front.
- Whether the tirzepatide price buys three months or six; the entry says both.
- A refill schedule that matches across pages: 45 or 90 days on the GLP-1 pages, 60 days on the price list.
Fees, refunds, insurance and HSA
Consultation fee. For each evaluation that results in a prescription, Henry treats $30 of its bundled charge as a consultation fee that is not refunded, and it may deduct a processing fee from any refund (Henry refund policy).
Refunds. Shipped medication is final sale and subscription fees are generally non-refundable. On a multi-month plan, a prorated refund of prepaid fees is possible when a licensed clinician documents that continuing is medically contraindicated and Henry's clinical team approves; dispensed medication is excluded (Henry refund policy).
Insurance and HSA. Henry is self-pay only and does not bill Medicare, Medicaid or other government programs. Its terms say HSA or FSA use may be possible but is not guaranteed (Henry terms). Our cost guide explains which prescription costs IRS rules count as medical expenses.
Before you pay
- Ask for the price at the dose you are likely to reach, not the starting dose, and what the plan price buys in milligrams.
- Compare the whole commitment, not the monthly figure, and read the multi-month cancellation terms first.
- Ask which pharmacy will fill the order and whether it is a 503A pharmacy or a 503B outsourcing facility.
- Price the brand: Wegovy, the Wegovy pill or Zepbound may cost little more, with a prescription from your own clinician.
Frequently asked questions
+How much is Henry Meds per month?
Henry says GLP-1 treatment starts at $179 a month, with provider visits, medication, supplies and shipping included and no separate membership. Weekly injections cost $297 a month month to month, or $1,482 for six months and $2,364 for twelve months paid in full, about $247 and $197 a month. Non-injectable semaglutide costs $179 a month as sublingual drops or tablets, $249 a month as higher-quantity dissolving tablets, or $747 for a three-month supply ($537 paid in full).
+How much is Henry Meds tirzepatide?
Henry lists only compounded tirzepatide tablets that dissolve in the mouth, at $1,047 for a three-month supply or $891 paid in full, about $349 or $297 a month. The entry's description mentions delivery over six months, so confirm the plan length before paying. No injectable tirzepatide was listed on October 10, 2026.
+Is the Henry Meds consultation free?
The first evaluation, up to 15 minutes, is free, and you are charged only if a provider writes a prescription. Once prescribed, you are enrolled and charged immediately, and Henry's refund policy treats $30 of the bundled charge for each prescribing evaluation as a non-refundable consultation fee.
+Does Henry Meds take insurance or HSA?
Henry does not take insurance and does not bill Medicare or Medicaid; all care is self-pay. Its terms say HSA or FSA cards may work in some cases but that eligibility is not guaranteed and depends on your plan administrator.
+Is Henry Meds cheaper than Wegovy or Zepbound?
Not always. Henry's injectable semaglutide is $297 a month month to month, while Wegovy costs $349 through NovoCare and $199 for a new patient's first two fills in 2026; Henry's dissolving tirzepatide works out to $297 to $349 a month, against $299 to $449 for Zepbound through Lilly's self-pay program. Brand prices exclude the prescriber's fee, while Henry's include visits, and Henry's prepaid long plans cost less per month.
+Can I get a refund from Henry Meds?
Rarely. Shipped medication is final sale, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, and unused periods are not refunded unless the law requires it. The exception is a prorated refund of prepaid fees on a multi-month plan when a licensed clinician documents that continuing is medically contraindicated and Henry's clinical team approves.
